[Music] hey guys in this video I'm going to take you on a tour of our new multi location SERP tracking feature this feature allows you to emulate and track serbs from multiple geographic locations within a single dashboard campaign google has made it increasingly clear over the past few years that nearly all keywords have some level of localization used as a ranking factor the precise Serbs displayed can vary dramatically for the same keyword depending on whether you're searching from for example New York City versus Alice Springs Australia we've done our best to make the new multi location rankings as intuitive as possible so let's take a quick look at the process for configuring different locations as well as for viewing and reporting on those results the geolocation for a keyword serve is now configured at the time that the keyword is added for tracking so first navigate to the rankings module for the campaign where you'd like to configure multiple

locations next click the add keywords button you'll notice that there are now boxes for location and language enter the keywords that you'd like to add then enter the locations you'd like to track for these keywords optionally you can also configure the serve language SERP language is another ranking factor and SERPs can vary based on the language that's configured for a Google account this particularly comes into play in regions where multiple languages are widely spoken a great example of this would be English language versus Spanish language Serbs in the southwestern United States as you can see here the results for the keyword taco in Los Angeles County are very different depending on the Google account language the fault in this case means the default language for the Google TLD in question when you're finished configuring this batch of keywords click add keywords

as you see here each keyword location pair will be added on a separate line additional metrics and filters for the SERPs chart in the screen are available under the Settings slider first you'll notice new boxes for location and language tick either of these boxes to enable or disable those columns in the chart back in the settings slider you'll also notice new filters you can now filter the displayed keywords by location and language in addition to the existing starred and tagged keyword filters and of course you can sort the location and language columns in ascending or descending order just as with any of the other metrics columns in the rankings module finally let's take a look at how these new options impact automated PDF reporting as always the metrics that are displayed in a PDF report are configured independently of those in the dashboard click the gear
